GLOSSARY · MATCHUP FLAG

USAGE SPIKE

The imported player report shows a higher recent share of carries or targets than the season share. More usage does not guarantee greater production.

Definitions describe how Matchup Lab computes and labels saved data. They are descriptive, not predictions, and not betting advice.

ATS COLDAn archived CFB against-the-spread record covered at most 20% of five or more decided lines. This historical label is informational, not advice.
ATS HOTAn archived CFB against-the-spread record covered at least 80% of five or more decided lines. This historical label is informational, not advice.
BACKUP QBThe imported availability report identifies the season starting quarterback as unavailable or replaced by a backup. Check the listed player and source date; this is not a numerical player-value adjustment.
BIG UPSET LAST WEEKA CFB team won its last game as an underdog of at least seven points.
BIG-PLAY EDGEAn elite explosive-play offense faces a defense allowing many big plays: NFL top 6 versus rank 27 or worse; CFB top 20 versus 105 or worse.
BODY-CLOCK GAMEThe saved matchup context identifies a kickoff at an unusual time relative to a traveling team's home time zone.
